About Palani Murugan Temple (Dandayuthapani)
One of the six abodes (Arupadai Veedu) of Murugan. The idol was sculpted from Navapashanam (nine medicinal substances) by sage Bhogar. Famous for Panchamirtham prasadam.
The third abode among Murugans Arupadai Veedu; millions make the barefoot walk (Padayatra).
