Navagraha Temples of Tamil Nadu & Puducherry
The Navagraha pilgrimage circuit comprises nine ancient Chola temples dedicated to the planetary deities. Eight are situated in Thanjavur, Mayiladuthurai, and Tiruvarur districts of Tamil Nadu, and one (Sani Bhagavan) is at Thirunallar in Karaikal, Puducherry. Pilgrims typically visit these shrines in a 2-day or 3-day circuit for relief from planetary doshas.
