About Arunachaleswarar Temple
Arunachaleswarar Temple is one of the largest temple complexes in India, located at the base of the sacred Arunachala hill. It represents the Agni (Fire) element among the Pancha Bhoota Stalas.
Pilgrims perform the 14-km barefoot circumambulation (Girivalam) around the sacred Arunachala hill on every full moon night.
