Job Description

Position: Nursing Officer (NORCET 11)

Total Vacancies: 2,218 Posts

Organization: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) & Participating Hospitals

Qualifications: B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized institute AND registered as a Nurse & Midwife.

Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) with INC/State Nursing Council registration PLUS 2 years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.

Age Limit (as of 13.08.2026): General / UR: 18 – 30 years (Age relaxation applicable as per Central Govt rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen).

Selection Process: Stage I: NORCET Preliminary Exam (CBT - Qualifying) – 12.09.2026

Stage II: NORCET Main Exam (CBT - Final Selection) – 30.09.2026

Application Fee: General / OBC: ₹3,000

SC / ST / EWS: ₹2,400 (SC/ST fee refunded after exam)

PwBD: Exempted
